Rob Mitchell

General Manager

Rob brings many years of experience working in NT and QLD with more than 20 years in multi business management and business development in remote localities. Rob joined JPS in May 2024 and looks forward to leading a team of highly qualified professionals.

Lauren Sherwell-Spears

Senior Property Manager & Licensee

Lauren returned to Jabiru in March 2023, bringing over 15 years of property management experience across the Northern Territory, Queensland, and South Australia. Her expertise spans residential, commercial, hotel, and staff accommodation sectors. Lauren holds a Diploma of Management and a Real Estate and Business Agent Licence.

Sesha Whitehurst

Property Support Officer

Sesha joined the team in 2022 as a familiar face to Jabiru residents, bringing valuable retail, customer service, and leadership experience to her role. She currently holds an Agent’s Representative Interim Licence and is completing her Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice, further enhancing her skills to support the property management team.

Rachel Turner

Support Officer

Rachel joins the JPS team with a background in administration, procurement, retail and customer service.

A Jabiru local for the past five years, she brings a strong understanding of the local community together with a meticulous and and methodical approach to her work.

Rachel brings strong communication and practical problem solving skills and is currently completing her Certificate IV in Real Estate practice. 

Ian Avage

Works Supervisor

Ian joined the team in April 2026, bringing 43 years of construction industry experience and knowledge gained across most states of Australia and Papua New Guinea. Starting his career as a plumbing and gas fitting apprentice, Ian worked across multiple facets of the construction industry, including residential, commercial, civil, industrial and mining sectors.

Ian manages day-to-day maintenance works, oversees property refurbishments and upgrades, and strengthens relationships with both existing and new partners. His strong leadership and management experience will also provide valuable assistance, support and mentoring to the JPS team and the broader Jabiru community.

Maruf Imtiaz

Corporate Services Officer

Maruf joined the team in February 2022, bringing extensive finance and accounting experience from roles across the NT and NSW. He supports a wide range of Finance and Business Services functions. He is known for his methodical approach, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes. Maruf has embraced the unique experience of living and working in remote communities and is committed to making a positive impact. He looks forward to continuing to support the team and contribute to the organisation’s success.

Ming-Chi Yang

Support Officer

Ming-Chi has been part of the Jabiru community for five years, bringing a strong local connection and a people-focused approach to property management. She holds a Bachelor of Land Management, a Graduate Certificate in Tourism, Environment and Cultural Heritage, an Interim Agent’s Representative Licence, and is currently completing a Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice.
